Education is the great equalizer in our society. Larry served on the Johnston County Board of Education for over 18 years, and he has a true passion for providing a safe learning environment for our children. Because of these reasons, Larry supports repealing Common Core and replacing it with the North Carolina Education Standard, and returning more local control over education.

 

Larry also supports more funding for early childhood reading.
